Classical V-Belts: The V-belts used in power transmission systems in Slovakia are mostly classical. You will find them frequently on lawn mowers, washing machines or in automobile engines. The shape of these belts is trapezoid (they are wider at the top and thinner at the bottom) and they can be inserted into pulley grooves with no problems and they are very stable and efficient.

 

Wedge V-Belts: Wedge V-belts are similar to classical V-belts, except that they are engineered to be more efficient and have a longer service life. Their reduced and tighter pulley contact V profile enables them to provide more power with less space since the pulley can contact more. This renders them the ideal option in small but high performance machines.

Raw Edge Cogged Wedge Belts: These belts offer the thinness of wedge belts, alongside the versatility of cogged belts. Their notched construction makes them less stiff and they can run smoothly over smaller pulleys with the least heat generated. They are also very suitable in an air compressor, automotive engine, and high-speed equipment in which space is limited, but performance is important.
 

Banded Belts: Banded raw edge cogged belts combine a number of cogged belts in a single high power, flexible cogged belt. This pattern will provide the distribution of the loads evenly, high grip, and less wear. They are commonly applied in the heavy industries operating steel, agriculture and massive machinery, where the strength and reliability are critical.
 

Hexagonal V-Belts: The hexa V-belts have a special six-sided shape, which can be used to power more than one pulley in one operation.
